Samla is an app for content creators, by content creators.
Samla is an app created to revolutionise the creativity space. Foregathering the ideas and works of creatives from every industry, from pen and paper sketches, to studio level productions and pioneering architects, designers and software engineers. Samla is a place of inspiration for all, generating inspiration for the world.
As an app, it was key that Samla had a striking presence on the web and in the App Store, with this in mind I first created a design for the layout of the app, with the its purpose at the forefront of my mind, I used this to create a mockup of its App Store presence to ensure the user is captured and downloads are maximised.
One thing often missed when brands are on the forefront of text is good old analog advertising. so the final piece of my first set of designs for Samla was a poster, incorporating the logo I’d previously created, with the the taglines of the brand, this posters fit for anywhere.
